Are you serious?!? I need a husband, not another child. I’m not his mommy. Unconditional love, guidance and support? Absolutely. But beyond that, I am not going to mother him. He is my husband, not my child.

It’s not my kid to be his mother it’s my job to be his partner and it’s HIS job to be mine. If we can’t BOTH be partners instead of him acting like I’m his mother then I don’t want it.

I moved out of my mommy’s house at 18. I became successful on my own. I love my wife and she loves me. I don’t need guidance. I do expect respect though. 👍🏻

Mutual love and respect is needed. Also just a thought- is love ever fully unconditional? What if your spouse is abusive? What if your spouse does something really terrible?

From his mother?! Not necessarily?! I gave him more support, guidance, respect than his mom ever did. Sadly I did not get the same. But we've discussed that

Yes to everything except unconditional love. Married or any adult love is conditional. If he screws me over, the love is withdrawn. Not true for my son.
