@drsarahballantyne: Replying to @hexas_holdem Let’s take a closer look at the nutrients in these breakfast cookies! Please make sure to watch the original video for the full recipe. Technical notes for ultra nutrient nerds: I had to approximate amounts of some ingredients based on what I can see in the video. I assumed this makes 2 dozen large cookies, and that a serving for breakfast is 2 cookies. @Jessica Secrest #nutrivore #breakfastideas #breakfastcookies
Replace the chocolate chips with raisins and I am in. Not for any health reasons I just genuinely love oatmeal raisin cookies and don't care for chocolate chip cookies.

Swap out the banana for pumpkin, add a teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice, and they're the perfect breakfast cookies for fall.

This crossover episode is just as iconic as when Steve Urkel from Family Matters visited Stephanie Tanner from Full House.

pretty good example of how successful nutrition is centered around what can contribute to your diet not be restricted from it right?

how would the nutritional make-up change if you used sugar, sweetener or honey? maple syrup is soooo expensive where I live but I honestly think I could actually eat these for breakfast which would be a game changer

we make "breakfast popsicles"
Greek yogurt, fruit, sometimes a dash of sugar or honey
or we do Greek yogurt mixed with peanut butter and banana and then coat them in chocolate

If she adds some cinnamon, they could be breakfast snickerdoodles, which would be fun to say. These look very good.

When I was in high school, we had free breakfast, and about once a week, it was breakfast oatmeal cookies. I mean, it’s just baked oatmeal, of course it’s good for you.

I wonder if you dried them out and added them as a crumble on yogurt for more protein. Or even ice cream to add nutrients to dessert

My kids live off of stuff like this sans the eggs and we also do chickpea chocolate chip cookies. Or we use all the same ingredients in a smoothie with chocolate protein powder add some dates and you are good to go. They are so good.

In Brazil, they eat 4 times/day. 2 of those times is breakfast. Cookies are apart of their breakfasts. Sometimes it’s basically churros. Sometimes it’s omelette too. And sometimes it’s fruits with it (especially in the afternoon) sometimes it’s literally birthday cake. The first time I visited my In Laws, I was in personal training where they measured my waist, legs, arms, etc…. I was measured before I left, stayed for 2.5 weeks with my in laws and lost .5 inches in my waist when I came back 2.5 weeks later. So, yeah.
