I don’t even try explaining anymore. I just do the thing and when someone asks what/how/why I just say look it up or figure it out. 🤷🏼♀️

I work in customer service, I find explaining things to people as if they were toddlers works wonders. Genuinely try to help, don't be a dick (unless they deserve it), but use small words and simple concepts.

I literally am so used to dumbing down everything I say for others that when I have an intellectual conversation with someone who understands the topic of discussion, I literally cannot find the right words that match the atmosphere of the conversation…. IT SUCKS.
