hahaha, I work as a CNC operator too, running a Nardini Logic 195IV and a Romi GL 240M. No matter how much experience I gain, I never have the courage to test a new program in automatic mode. I always run it in single block first and gradually increase the feed as I go.

Always vigilant, first thing when training people, was safety, how to start all procedures from the beginning, and always stay vigilant, at least the first complete cycle, then you can relax a few. Any change is a new cycle so... Vigilance is a must.

if your learn to read the g code it will help a lot i program all my own stuff and still get nervous proving out the program haha
