Yes they can.. all NZ & AUS teams have been under the pump with producing sets in a short amount of time.

and consider also for groups that usually make the second round, like Brotherhood, they REALLY have to make 2 new sets every time. Losing in the 1st round provides an opportunity to use that unused set to be used in the next one. And based from Brotherhood's podcast, crews may even have to change their whole set with around 2 weeks left if the song they chose couldn't get cleared for copyright.

I remember we had to put in 5 to 6 sets for WOD NBC Seasons 3 and 4 in 1 to 2 weeks time, with back and forth flying out from PH to US every round, this is without the redemption rounds on deck and unapproved copyrighted songs (we had to make backups if ever our "main song" doesn't get approved on time). Fun times. 😁

Pro teams run businesses, teach classes, travel for workshops plus sold out show tours, they compete locally, they pull dancers in and out for commercial gigs, and then somehow they find time to create, clean and perfect multiple sets within short timeframes. Add in chorey changes, music edits, constant international travel and jet lag, and it's a completely different level of commitment and pressure. None of that takes away from the Community teams hard work though I think they’re awesome, but it does highlight how much is expected at the Pro level.

haven’t danced in forever but I imagine community teams probably have grueling hell weeks with rehearsals ending at 2-3am - the pro teams are either doing multiple hell weeks all season long (which is insane) or theyre managing to make these quality sets with standard practice hours (also insane)
