I start every session with a new pt saying “fyi I suck at counting”. One of my students bought me a clicker off of amazon 😭

that’s why I always ask them to count out loud (aside from the fact that it keeps them from holding their breath)

I never remember what I’m on bc I talk to the pt 😂😂😂I usually just say done when I feel like if done a lot (it’s always over the amount)

I ask the pt to count the reps. If they don’t count out loud, I ask them what number they’re on. If they are unsure, I start back at 1 and count for them. It’s wonderful how quickly they start counting their own reps. 😉
