@chekmedia: The victim of an assault in Saanich, B.C., earlier this month has died of their injuries, and the charge against the suspect has been upgraded to murder. At the time of the assault on July 3, the victim was in critical condition and suspect Suleyman Budak was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated assault. On July 8, police said the victim "sadly has succumbed to their injuries" and the charge against Budak had been upgraded to murder.
