I implemented “afternoon” reading almost a year ago. Unless we have somewhere to be right after naptime, we have a snack & read at 3pm when I get them up from nap every single day for 30-45 minutes. This happens outside weather permitting, if it’s raining or too humid we stay indoors. It’s everybody’s favorite part of the day!!

Thank you! I so feel this, I used to be great at reading aloud to my kids but lately, idk if it’s the summertime or what, but it’s been not happening lately and I need to get back into it!
