Or just walk them in the afternoon or early morning before it gets too warm like responsible dog owners.

Yeah, we stay in the A/C when it's too hot for a dog to be out. Potty trips are about three minutes max, any exercise is before dawn or after dark. I'd certainly not be out hiking with them 😳
