@jannahbeckons: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم A Small Reflection Over the past few days, whilst attending the Trodden Path Retreat, Allah has blessed me with moments of reflection and a number of valuable insights. One that particularly stayed with me came whilst studying Secrets of Those Drawn Near (Īḍāḥ Asrār ʿUlūm al-Muqarrabīn). The author mentions that he hesitated to write the book because he felt the times were not conducive to this science. Yet he did not allow that to stop him, saying: "My resolve was the hope of Divine Reward." It was a timely reminder that we shouldn't become overly concerned with whether the time feels right. Rather, we should strive to make our intentions sincere and leave the outcome to Allah. Although I expected my time away from social media to be much longer, Allah had other plans. Jannah Beckons began as a small effort seeking Allah's pleasure, and I pray it remains that way. With renewed intention, and in shā' Allāh, Jannah Beckons will continue.
