@yegwavetv: BREAKING: A tornado touched down at Dillberry Lake Provincial Park Wednesday evening, roughly 290 kilometres east of Edmonton near the Alberta-Saskatchewan border, prompting a full evacuation of the campground. RCMP say officers were called to the scene around 8:30 p.m. following reports of the tornado, and confirmed everyone at the campground has since been accounted for, with evacuees taken to the Chauvin rec centre. Some campers were taken to hospital, though RCMP have not released details on the number of injuries or their severity. Officers confirmed some structures in the park were damaged during the storm. Alberta Parks has closed the park and all its facilities, including the campground, until further notice while crews assess the damage.
