@artsbytye: HOW I MADE: Ultimate Jumping Deag Threw together a quick bts of some of the different steps I took to make this animation. Kinda the definition of embrace the jank. Still quite new to claymation so I’m just using cheapo stuff from Michael’s and shooting flat. Definitely gonna invest in better clay and potentially armature/structural tools so that I can do more when shooting and less digital touch up. The roto process is pretty simple but tedious, just cutting out the clay from the background. I add the color change/dithering effect through a pixel art software called Aseprite and comp everything in After Effects. Got a smaller cs claymation video in the works rn so hopefully out later this month then gonna get started on a larger and more ambitious piece, with another clip from the major (most likely) Stuff in the works, definitely happy to answer any process questions people have! #cs #cs2 #counterstrike #claymation #stopmotion
