This is my husband.We've been married for 16 years and he puts me through verbal,mental,and financial abuse.Every time we would be at the store and I see something I want or need I have to ask for permission,like a kid and I'm 39 a year older than my husband.We had an argument and he said his thruth that he's just my "caretaker". In 2023,I couldn't take it anymore and I attempted suicide twice.But after the second attempt, nothing has gotten better.I have to be very careful about how I talk to him and have to choose my words wisely.I don't talk to him anymore.Is it normal for my body not to react/flinch anymore when he yells and screams at me?I'm emotionally exhausted and emotionally checked out.
