To be honest, the master chief storyline has gone completely off the rails with the whole banished thing it makes literally no sense at all, and we had two games of buildup that was leading to a Promethean flood war but the writers at 343 are so fucking brain dead to see that so they just made the banished to magically defeat everyone. Worst fucking campaign ever worse than five. I’m just ready for them to move on from chief or retcon Halo infinites story. I wouldn’t mind a story based around the arbiter or playing as a forerunner during the forerunner flood war even another ODST game literally anything else besides this stupid ass vanished storyline we have going on
