I don't know why, based on the reviews, people say it smells great and has good projection. I've let mine macerate for several months already, but it still doesn't smell that fresh to me, and the projection and longevity don't even last an hour before it becomes a skin scent. It's like those soaps that smell amazing right after you shower, but once you get dressed, you can barely smell them anymore. 😅
