Let those responsible for designing our curriculum be experienced teachers who understand the realities in our classrooms. They should take into account our country's capacity and the resources actually available. We keep adopting ideas that look impressive on paper but are difficult, or even impossible, to implement. A visit to schools at the grassroots would reveal the true situation and help shape a curriculum that is relevant and achievable.

I always say that ... teachers are the most creative and passionate people, and it's sad that they are always overlooked/ignored when decision-making, that concerns them, is done! BUT also, teachers who get promoted to circuit/provincial/ district/national level change their tunes when they get to those offices ... and detach themselves from what is going on in the classroom/school level!
