Well, coming from a person who has owned 4 bottles of Valaya I can tell you none of the bottles have had 100% clear juice. Honestly, if I buy a bottle second hand and it’s all clear, I’d think it’s fake.

It happens overtime, that bottle just been matured/macerated, the color shouldn’t effect the juice tho

I've had mine a year and it's never changed colors. it's still clear. that isn't maceration, that's either fake or old

It's Valaya Exclusive you have. Scan the bar code on the box and it will tell you the date it was produced

I got mine from parfum de marly site and it was this exact color they sent me 3 different ones because i had this same issue of the color because i had the small bottle and it was clear. Its an older batch because not every batch smell exactly the same. Also you dont get that citrus bright note in the opening like with the clear bottled one, this one you get more of the middle and base notes. Your not bugging tho.

Tbh i wouldnt trust perfumes from costco. I bought le labo from them before and it doesn’t smell like the original at all. I know its more expensive but i usually just buy it directly from the brand.

That’s actually a good sign that means it’s made out of natural ingredients. And it’ll get darker as it ages, it’s called maceration.

It just was bottled some time ago. Perfume darkens as it ages, kinda like wine. Also the notes get a bit deeper sometimes as it macerates

I don’t understand, why not buy perfume straight to the company. At this point, I don’t even trust Macys. Especially for niche perfume, I would not purchase at Walmart, Costco, BK, Amazon, etc

If you don’t love how it smells, definitely return it. Costco has no problem with that and I see Valaya on the Costco website at least four times a year.

Same thing happened to me! Got Valaya from Costco and It smelled different than I remember from previous samples, so I returned it. I looked up the batch number and it was made in 2024. Probably just old.
