Where we got married there was an “ east suite” and a “west suite” and we just picked which person got ready in which. And that was in the south. 😂

ten years ago when we were planning our 2 bride wedding, we went to a bridal Fair and won an engagement photo shoot. the photographer refused to photograph us and instead paid someone else to photograph us.

We got SO lucky with everything! But AS SOON as we got engaged, I emailed a BUNCH of places to see how they felt about 2 brides. Luckily all of them were fine with it, & our venue was PERFECT!

Getting married at The Evermore in Mass and they have been so inclusive and welcoming. They have pictures of other queer couples in their photo books and have been incredible and accommodating.

We were married at the Stanley Hotel and they were like yeah your bridal suite is you room 😂 I got ready in our room and she got ready in my maid of honor’s room. It worked!

I’m sorry….. primary bride?????? Absolutely not. So sorry you had that experience! We’ve had bride couples come in and shop together for their dresses. We have two seating areas so they can have the experience of shopping together but not see each other’s dresses. Those are such fun appointments!

We went to a wedding venue that had several different bridal suites and they had them laid out in a way that would have been perfect for queer couples and that was the only thing I liked about that venue.

Our venue has 3 suites on site and just named them fun things. They also decorated each suite very neutral so they can set up 2 groom or 2 bridal suites if need.

I use the term client on all my wedding photography contracts. But yeah, never thought about the primary bride suite....needs to be fixed in the industry!
