@crmnallyobsessed: DID DRUGS MAKE HIM KILL HIS GRANDMOTHER...AND RECORD IT?! A 19-year-old Covington, Kentucky man was sentenced for the brutal murder of his own grandmother — which he recorded on his phone. In October 2024, police found 74-year-old Cheri Oliver severely beaten in her own home. She was taken to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Police arrested her grandson, Wyatt Testerman, who was staying with Oliver following a hospital stint after overdosing on LSD. Testerman claims that he was in a drug fueled psychosis and believed that his grandmother was trying to attack him at the time of the beating. Before the murder, Testerman had texted his mother stating that he was going to kill his grandmother. The video evidence shows Testerman propping his phone up on a tumbler that he later hit her with. It also shows Testerman stopping to look at blood on his knuckles and at one point checking to see whether Oliver was still alive. When he realized she was, he continued to beat her. Despite testimony in favor of a shorter sentence from Testerman’s mother and aunt, he was still sentenced to life in prison. He will be eligible for parole in 20 years. #TrueCrime #Kentucky #Sentencing #CourtNews
