Last year, my therapist told me, “Gebel, You’re a catch.” She said it even when she knew my secrets, my red flags, and my flaws. At the time, I didn’t fully believe her. Because my self-worth had been broken since I was a kid. But this month, I started to see it for myself. God placed the right people in my life to help me grow, and people around me have shown me my worth — reminding me how beautiful I am inside and out. I’ve been told things like, “You’re like a perfect person” or “People close to you are lucky because you bring wisdom and light.” Big brands from around the world see value in what I share online. Some people look up to me as an inspiration. And those closest to me love me simply for who I am. I realized that now that these are reflections of the values I try to live by — not because I am perfect, but because God has been working in me. At my core, I’ve always had a giving heart. Helping others brings me joy — not for recognition, but because it fills me to lift, serve, and pour into others from a full cup. I love learning, creating, and sharing what I know in every way I can. That’s just who I am. Now, I’m more self-aware, grounded, and intentional than I’ve ever been. And I can clearly see how God’s hand was in every part of that journey. Now I understand — I do have a lot to offer. And I’m learning to stop downplaying it. Not to seek recognition, but to honor the woman God is helping me become. A woman led by purpose. #growth #personalgrowth #selfdevelopment #godlywoman #selflove #inspirational
