The trick is that the denominator changes 😭 If 1 leaves, it’s 98 left-handed out of 99 people = 98.99%, not 98%. You need 50 to leave → 49/50 = 98%.

Easily solvable in your head we know 98is 98% of 100 so you just divide both by 2 to 49 is 98% of 50

To everyone still confused,out of 100 people,1 of them is right handed. That means when 50 leave,50 remain. Out of remaining 50,49 are left handed and 1 is still right handed. So 49 out of 50 is 98%
