It even made me wonder whether the crude oil it carries could completely fill one of the storage tanks we helped build. This is a crude oil terminal expansion project that we participated in. Each storage tank has a capacity of 150,000 m³. These tanks are commonly known as API 650 Storage Tanks, Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST), External Floating Roof Tanks, Double-Deck Floating Roof Tanks, Vertical Cylindrical Welded Steel Tanks, or simply Crude Oil Storage Tanks. They are widely used in strategic petroleum reserves, oil terminals, refineries, petrochemical plants, and other large liquid bulk storage facilities.
