@lunfarda: "Argentina doesn't have Black players." That's a question that comes up every time Argentina is in the global spotlight. The discussion matters but it's done the wrong way. Reducing an entire country to a stereotype doesn't help us understand its history. It flattens it. Instead of asking we should be listening to the people and organizations who have been doing the work of preserving, documenting, and fighting for Afro-Argentine history and visibility for decades.
