This is not good advice. 👀 100k points + $600 in fees/taxes to Europe round trip on business is decent. But you can find as low as 60k points + the fees/taxes for business class.

Always better to use your points than let them sit, but you could’ve booked Air France business class for 120,000 Amex points roundtrip. Next time look at transferring to Flying Blue (Air France’s program)

I love Kaitlyn but that’s not a good points deal at all! I just got a flight to Korea for 20,000 points but it’s not business. If you’re flexible you can get business class 40-80k per way

We just dropped our platinum down to gold because the annual fees weren’t worth the benefits. We use Southwest air now and not American and the Centurian lounges are the farthest from Southwest.
