I think AI devs know that they're doing because if they steal your idea and if you have enough evidence, you can sue them and this will tarnish their reputation if the case goes viral. Tarnishing them will drop their business down and many prompt engineers will shift their focus to something else and that's when AI focus would start to shift. My best advice: Trust AI but don't share any sensitive info because the model would use it to learn and train itself for responding to other users
