When I started watching Attack on Titan, Mikasa immediately made a profound impression on me. Her willingness to protect her loved ones at the cost of her own life, her loyalty, her character, her resilience, and her strength. I grew to love her so much. She is truly my favorite character in the entire series; I never imagined an anime character could move me so deeply. Throughout the story, I worried about her intensely as if she weren't just a drawn character, but a real person with her own dreams, goals, and feelings. To me, Mikasa is someone I want to emulate: to be just as strong, determined, resilient, and ready to protect those close to me in the face of any danger. She is an incredibly moving character. I love her, I love aot.
