Mexico's president has confirmed that Mexico is seriously considering hosting the next club world cup. This would take place in 2029. Obviously they still have to get everything sorted out. They have to make sure it benefits the country economically and all that. But after hosting the 2026 world cup and being great hosts getting billions in revenue and win win for both Mexico and investors. I'm all for this but there's just one problem. This was how the club world cup was hosted in the United States. They had 11 top stadiums and the Rose Bowl. I'm not counting that as a top stadium. And Mexico I just don't think has that many world-class stadiums. Obviously they have Monterrey Stadium. They also have the Estadio Azteca. The Estadio Acron you could throw in there as well. And then after that it just kind of dies down. And Mexico just may not have enough world-class stadiums to host this tournament man. FIFA has it very strict on which stadiums they allow to host the tournaments.
