Definately advocate for yourself. We know when something is wrong. My dr kept telling me over the course of a year and a half I needed to eat better. I was exhausted and just didn't feel well. I had Hodgkins Lymphoma.

My sweet sister died of lung cancer almost 4 years ago. She told her doctor for 2 years, her right shoulder and back are constantly hurting. He told her to lose weight. She was 73, 145 lbs. she went back over and over. He told her to exercise! She lived alone, so I would stay with her at times. She fell out of the bed, I rushed her to the emergency and demanded to find out what was wrong! She died 9 weeks later! Before she died, she told me to tell all the women in our family to scream as loud as you can when you know something is wrong with your body! If he would’ve listened to her, she would still be here with us

The hospital told my husband he had infection and gave antibiotics, he went back 3 times and was turned away.. he had cancer and died at 44… he lived 9 weeks fighting..
