it all boils down to experience. in terms of combat experience, Tanya will win this. I like Fern and her massive mana and firepower but she's a bit inexperienced to match Tanya. the question should've been Frieren vs Tanya.

Tanya’s got better range and stronger charged attacks. She probably also has faster normal attacks (considering the Tommy gun) but they’re too light for Fern’s defensive magic. Fern’s got more destructive regular attacks and can pretty much attack from every direction. She also makes sure to hide her presence. Personally giving it to fern.

ill say fern wins, Tanya definitely has more firepower and has higher mobility but Tanya has to pray for strong attacks and fern can spam attacks and can use her shield to stop Tanya superior firepower while Tanya cant block her to that degree. Be a battle of attrition Tanya winning until fern lands a hit

My only question is can Tanya break Ferns shields. Fern can tank some heavy shots and I’d definitely state Freiren hits harder then Tanya; which would be the metric Fern was trained for. IF Tanya can Pierce the shield? Tanya wins for sure
