Philly really doesn’t need extravagant events like this when we are struggling with spending as it is! Not to mention they were just complaining about how much it costs to secure events like this! They don’t want to use our tax dollars to create long term change but have all the money for bs like this. This has been an issue well before Parker and until we elect someone with an actual vision for the city we’ll keep getting mayor’s and other elected officials like this lady.

These July 4th concerts need to end anyway. I think we have enough in the city thru the national parks system where people can enjoy July 4th related things and events. Just have the fireworks on the parkway and thats it. Stop with the concerts.
