I’m invested now. I gotta see how this turns out. That’s how I always do it. I drill into the concrete pound rebar into it and then just patch it with concrete.

a blower truck may be a affordable option.... blow in the backfill... problem is shooting the right materials.
I like that theory... core drill some new holes ..6 in . dump sand.. pack down with a stamped.
getting materials in the tunnel is fucked part
rebar laid in a grid... pinned or unpinned.... horizontal not vertical.
mix concrete and pour that mofo 4inch thick
scape off that tile and get a new floor

put flow ash and it gets hard like clay it pours in like water you will have no settling and top with concrete.

Man bro what a mess . This what dealing with concrete slab foundations ends up being. maybe the old way of building homes with outer concrete foundation and wood floors with crawl space is better.

Couldn’t they re-lay the pipe externally and pick up the fixtures from the outside? Would’ve been better to renovate the entire layout - move kitchen if it’s central to the slab and move bathroom / laundry etc.

dont forget to make sure they put a base layer in and pack it good then they have to cover it in with a 1 foot lift and pack that tight. then 9 inch lift and pack it and keep going untill you can get a 4 inch stone layer of stone under the concrete, drill and pin with 3/8 or 1/2 inch rebar in a boxing pattern with wire ties. someone is gonna have to replace the tile if you can match it.
