@nativeplanttok: True story, I’ve found rare plants on a commercial property before only for them to cuss me out and destroy the entire population. The fact that Meta has taken the exact opposite approach by protecting this population and improving it gives me hope for the world. We need the people who know the land and know the importance of ecosystems to be involved when any land use change is happening! We are told this is a Post Oak by our tree guy. He says it’s the biggest he has EVER seen. It’s close to the Alabama line but in Caledonia Ms . We call it the Stanley Oak because we believe it was growing when the first Stanley built his cabin .
