Hot Take: This movie is way better than the second one. I never cared about the spy stuff. What makes this one good is how much importance they gave Doc’s death and how it affected McQueen, the theme of older generations accepting change, and veterans learning to guide the new generation instead of fighting it forever. It actually felt grounded and mature compared to the second movie.

First movie was goated, second movie showed McQueen on the peak of his career with more focus on Mater, but also a wider world building, where as the third movie shows a deeper truth that time comes for us all, and there are lessons in life from everyone around you
