Easy Crochet Headband Pattern ✨Materials: 9mm crochet hook, 55-60 grams of super bulky weight 6 yarn (I am using the Lion Brand Thick and Quick Wool Ease). I used 56g of yarn for a typical adult sized headband, you’ll need more/less yarn if you’re making a bigger/smaller headband! ✨Row 0: Chain 9. You can chain more or less depending on how thick you want your headband to be. (If you’re making this for a child you’ll likely need to chain less unless you want it to be super thick) ✨Row 1: Slip stitch in the second chain from your hook. Continue to slip stitch in every foundation chain. You’ll have 8 slip stitches total. Chain 1, turn your work. *Note: these chain 1’s aren’t stitches, they are turning chains! You never crochet into these turning chains* ✨Row 2: Slip stitch back loop only (SS-BLO) in all 8 stitches. Chain 1, turn your work. ✨Repeat Row 2 until your headband is the length you want! *Note: You want the headband to stretch a little when you put it on so it stays on your head. Keep this in mind as you are fitting it to your head so you don’t crochet too many rows!* ✨To attach your headband: Fold your headband so your working yarn is on the top. Insert your hook in the back loop of the first stitch AND the corresponding foundation chain. Yarn over and pull through all the loops. Continue this for the remaining 7 stitches. ✨Finishing touches: Fasten off your yarn and weave in your yarn ends! Happy crocheting ✨ #crochet #crochetpattern #crochettutorial #beginnercrochet
