@brickerbuilds: After 18 months of design between the team, Scrap-E is finished! In December of 2024, we had you vote for a life-sized model we would make in 2025! We asked and you voted Wall•E to be Bricker Builds Next Top Model. Our design team began working on how to bring this character to life in LEGO® bricks but we had no idea how difficult it would be... Once we began the design, we learned that he is over 2.5 ft tall, 3 ft wide, and 3 ft deep... the challenge wasn’t only designing something that looked good, but the 55lb sculpture had to be held up by brick-built treads because we were DETERMINED to make the build possible without glue or metal framework. After many rounds of iterations, he was ready to order. From January - June of this year, we ordered sections of this robot to assemble and play with. The moment of truth was seeing if the brick-built treads could hold up the weight of the box, head, and arms... and IT DID!! This was a massive team effort between @Tyler DeSilva, @pino_creations, @Exo Edits, and @Christopher Gearhart for Bricker Builds. What do you think? #brickerbuilds #lego #walle
