The original Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed simply says, "the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father." The phrase "and the Son" (Filioque) was added centuries later in the West and was not part of the Creed approved by the Ecumenical Councils. The Council of Ephesus even forbade altering the Creed. John 15:26, where Jesus says, "the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father."

This assumes spiration happens after begetting, this argument does not work because the orthodox believe both processions occur simultaneously If as soon as the Son is a person- the Holy Spirit is also- then there's nothing the Son can contribute to

So question, wouldn’t that still make the Holy Spirit came from the father and not from the son since the father is the original source. Instead it comes from the father but through the son but not from the son. Like if someone gives me 200 dollars and tells me to give 100 to someone else. The original person gave the someone else the 100 but just through me. I didn’t really give them a hundred dollars I was just the conduit.
