✨ 5 things you have to do when traveling to Bali After spending time exploring this magical island, here are the experiences that truly stand out — beyond the usual tourist checklist. 1️⃣ Have dinner on the beach in Jimbaran There’s nothing like eating freshly grilled Jimbaran-style fish with your feet in the sand and the waves right beside you. It’s one of the most iconic Bali sunsets for a reason. ✨ I recommend Menega Café, Hatiku, and Teba Café. 2️⃣ Visit at least one non-touristy area To really understand Bali’s soul, leave Canggu/Seminyak for a day and slow down somewhere local. Some of my favorites: • Medewi – long left-hand waves & peaceful villages • Kintamani – volcano views & cooler air • Munduk – waterfalls + jungle • Tabanan – untouched nature • Amed – snorkeling heaven • Menjangan – national park & coral reefs • Buleleng – laid-back north coast vibes with amazing wildlife 3️⃣ Visit Nusa Ceningan This island is so underrated — turquoise water, quiet beaches, great cafés, and the perfect mix of chill + adventure. It’s a must-see if you’re already going to Lembongan. Easy too reach with the scooter over the yellow bridge⭐️ 4️⃣ If you want to see Kelingking Beach, stay on Nusa Lembongan instead of Nusa Penida Penida looks dreamy but the infrastructure is rough and getting around can be exhausting. Lembongan is much more beautiful, safe, and easy — and you can visit Penida as a smooth day trip. Win-win. 5️⃣ Take a surfing lesson — Bali is one of the best places on earth to learn 🏄‍♀️ Whether you’ve never touched a board or already surf a bit, Bali has breaks for everyone. Beginner-friendly spots: Canggu, Kuta, Padang Padang. Warm water, sandy bottoms, great teachers — it’s the perfect place to try. 💗 Bali is a blend of culture, nature, spirituality, good food, surfing, and some of the kindest people in the world. If you’re planning a trip, save this for later ✨ #BaliTravel #BaliGuide
