@yummycoty: To beat the summer heat, I headed over to the newest cute Chinese cafe in Duluth for some cold noodle dishes. Little did I know or expect, their food is actually 🔥🔥🔥 Super delicious and fragrant mala flavors, as well as perfectly toothsome QQ noodles. The noodles have that addictive, chewy texture that you can't stop eating. TBH instead of dessert, I was just craving an extra serving of their noodles. The thickness of the noodles is a little thinner than a typical udon style noodle, with a square edge. They also have plenty of hot entrees, like rice bowls and noodle soups. They seem to be known for their Chinese style cold braised dishes, called louwei. Most of the louwei dishes are duck based, but there are also fish tofu, seaweed, and tofu skin. I tried the Cold Sesame Noodles, as well as the Mala Noodles. Both were different. I liked that the mala was more ma than la, rather than the typical red colored oily noodles, these were fragrant with green peppercorn. green peppercorn is trendy in Asia right now, just hasn't made it's way to the US yet. Because the US is still obsessed with drowning everything in red oil. Next time, I will try the Dongbei Cold Noodle as well as the Braised Beef Soup. I will have some comments on both of those dishes because Dongbei region is known for their hot dishes, not cold dishes due to their proximity. And, Braised Beef Noodles here conatknan entire hotdog, randomly. 👀 Honestly, this spot is built for excellent takeout service, as their takeout packaging is prioritized and optimized. For example, even their louwei braised dishes are already pre-packed for takeout. 📍 Restaurant location?: Kungwoo Kitchen 2255 Pleasant Hill Rd Ste 210B, Duluth, GA 30096 🌶️ Spice level analysis?: Spices build up slowly, but mostly numbing, which is more fragrant and natural tasting. 🥣 Serving suggestions?: Recommend the cold dishes to beat the summer heat. 🌟 Overall dining experience?: 5/5 fast, delicious, and excellent value for flavor and quantity 💰 Price range details?: Most dishes between $10-15 all day and include 2 side pickles: kimchi and cucumbers 💁 Service style thoughts?: Love the ordering number system. #atlfoodie #duluth #duluthga #cutecafe
