corkage fees are a different thing bc it's actually cheaper for you to bring it and it's a special license. so it's more a legal thing than an establishment thing.

I only disagree with the corkage fee as a business owner by having those fees it makes up for the loss we have in sales in such things as losing that price they could’ve had on the wine and they’re substituting it with a cork fee, it balances out.

i got a new piercing recently and i hate how places will advertise that the piercing is only like 40$ but then you get to the shop and the jewelry is like a million dollars and they dont have the prices of their jewelry stated on their website anywhere its the fucking worst

I'm on board with everything but the corkage fee. You brought your wine, they're bringing you the glasses, they're pouring the wine, bringing it the ice bucket, they're giving you the same service as if you bought a bottle. Getting an ice bucket is a pain in the ass, get a decanter and opening takes time away from other tables and it's not even on the bill. A 15 dollar corking fee for all of the things that go into serving you your wine.... I think it tracks.
