@r3rescue: Using metal grain rescue tubes that slide together, vs lock together, is an efficient use of tools to help protect and rescue an entrapped patient. For demonstration purposes we created this small singular rescue ring around our patient, who just needed to have knee deep grain removed from around him. - YES even knee deep is considered an entrapment!! - in this situation the ring was set up to serve as a barrier from other grain potentially falling and making the situation worse. Once a ring is properly set up around the person, you can use a Rescue Vac to completely remove grain from the situation or a simply use a mini auger powered by a power drill, to move the grain from around the patient to right outside of the ring, freeing them enough so they can climb out.
