I totally hear you. I have severe anxiety and while I was once so self assured and confident now I find myself questioning everything. My dad used to say that when I was younger, I wasn’t afraid of anything. What happened ?!?!?

very well said cuz yes I feel the same hence embarking on my cross country road trip that has been my dream since my early 20s when I rented a room from this woman who had a bus on her land. one day i asked her what the bus was for, she said I'm gutting it and I'm going to live out of it. I helped her gut it and in that moment said I am going to do this one day. That was 23 years ago and i feel the alst few years have made me feel stuck and frozen and scared to move. I have to show myself i still have it as well!

Makes total sense! Before I retired I planned it out and set myself up. I took two years not being tied to a job, but taking time to myself with no commitments to anything else… I was exhausted and burnt out, and it was the most amazing experience… I miss it… But it really made me appreciate the convenience. I have now… But honestly, if I could afford it, I’d love to be set up to do it full-time again… It wasn’t really cheaper for me… Gas was a big expense! And food was really challenging, although I ate well… I had a shipping container where I stored all my stuff and I had a fridge, microwave, and cooktop there… I’d freeze water for my cooler and to cook breakfast or other meals there, drop off my dirty clothes and pick up clean clothes, and I kept minimal things in my suburban… I didn’t want it to look like I was living in my car so I would blend in easier… I stayed primarily in the same area, with the planet fitness on each end, I had several spots where I’d spend the night and would switch it up regularly… I had a routine… And I had all these beautiful places to sit in process my life… Grieving the past and planning the future… Like a trip! Sitting behind the windshield became my window to the world… You see everything when you take the time to watch… Really love your content… I understand everything you’re saying! You’ve got to experience it to know what it’s really like.. both are good and the bad, and what that creates in us… steady on!
