@versabusiness: ❤️ SOMETIMES THE BIGGEST THING YOU CAN DO… IS THE SMALLEST ACT OF KINDNESS. ❤️ 🚴‍♂️ While my wife and I were out biking today, I told her about something that happened on the beach yesterday that stuck with me. I noticed an elderly woman had fallen on the sand. What bothered me wasn’t that she had fallen… It was that people were simply walking right past her. So I went over. You could see the embarrassment on her face. I smiled and said, “Hon, there’s nothing to be embarrassed about. I see this almost every day. The beach is hot, the sand is soft, and getting back up that hill is tough. Let me give you a hand.” I helped her back to her feet and asked if she’d like me to walk her to her car. She thanked me but said she just needed a minute to catch her breath. So I stayed nearby and watched from a distance until I saw her safely make it back to her car. It took me less than two minutes. Two minutes. That’s all it took to make sure someone got home safely. ❤️ If you see an elderly person struggling… Please don’t assume someone else will help. Be that someone. One day, if we’re lucky enough to grow old… We’ll all hope someone does the same for us. Kindness costs nothing. But it can mean everything.
