No tape to protect the paint is a turn off. doesn't matter if you think you're on point, or car color, etc. Using tape to protect the surrounding shows care and professionalism

I saw another guy do headlight restoration but he sanded it without using the foam and then he used some sort of bottle with a head and it liked sprayed onto the headlight with “steam” of like acetone and it was very clear

I keep seeing the headlight magic kit on my fyp and looking to start doing this as a little side hustle. Question, every video I see though they polish them before applying the coating is polishing them necessary or is it just another step to get them to look even better?
