this was me, as a paladin in my party. cleric, warlock, and me. in a dungeon meant for a party of 4 that was directly taken from ad&d. it was rough. there was one tpk but the DM took pity on us and had them capture us instead

I just stayed in the bushes eating berries pretending I didnt know how to get through the berry bush as a 2.5 ft goblin druid princess. crying because our monsters were lizards and I didnt want them to fight.

brought my dad and son to the local game shop for our first ever dnd game, and the dm had to rewrite an encounter so it was less challenging and then had our employer give us "Professional Inspiration" so we could do more damage. our Paladin still almost died. it was BAD 😭
