I created the best plan ever for this summer... Then I got sick for 6wks (like could barely get out of bed, my husband was taking on all my work and still going to his job), I am just coming out of it and they go back in 3wks, so im not even gonna try it now 🙃

this is so us. i always think the checklist will help take up time...SIKE. My oldest has his entire morning checklist done before I even wake up 🤣 also my youngest eats like a college pro athlete.

If this were an ad for the summer checklist you made, I would still buy it. I will continue going into summer with high expectations and being quickly overwhelmed and disappointed.

Yeah, I'm like screen time absolutely all day, climb up the doorway awesome Spiderman, you want ice cream for breakfast its got milk waterever, yeah I'll add more bandaid to the list. I didn't know where anyone's shoes or swim trunks are. And I have found all the groceries half eaten behind the couch. Just survive yall

I'm a virtual teacher and start back to work in a week. My kids will still have another two and a half weeks at home. Despite my best intentions and checklists, none of us have thrived this summer😅

Told my husband for the first 2 or 3 weeks? They are allowed to stay up and sleep in. Now mid July? Even I have trouble getting up and entertaining them ALL day because it’s over 100 outside all the time….just one more month
