This is quite literally has to just be so you can access chapter 7 without doing chapter 6 because that’s what the weird route forces you to do. It would be quite stupid for one save file to affect the other ones when it comes to the actual story because how would anyone know that otherwise if that was the case

Im pretty sure its because when chapter 7 releases it can detect the flag in that save slot and load up the “chapter 7 side B” when you try to load up that save slot and it MIGHT uncheck the flag when you complete chapter 7 weird route

it's because it can't be done the normal way via save files because there is no weird route in chapter 6, the game still needs to know you did it to let you play chapter 7 weird route
