She was found in a sealed jar in Roman Egypt with a 28-line Greek spell. It names her: Ptolemais. It names the man who commissioned it: Sarapammon. It calls on Pluto, Persephone, Thoth, Anubis, and the demon Antinous and asks them to drag her by her hair until she comes to him. At the end, Sarapammon offers the demon a deal. "If you do this, I will release you." This is a defixio: a Roman binding curse, inscribed on lead and deposited somewhere the underworld might be find it. Over 1,500 of them have survived.
