@shepherdplayspiano: O.M.G. That was SO much work! Here I thought I was committing to something easy to save me time when making future meals. Tell me how you prep your garlic. 🧄 #garlic #italianfood #garlicprep #holly #cozykitchen
Us in europe, we use a garlic press. You get a fine garlic paste. Easy to use, even if you use fresh garlic every day. (We do this in europe by the way).

It’s crazy people are saying “just buy jarred it’s easier”. She has before , just been so bullied by internet she doing it this way probably. Funny how it works people complain about her not doing fresh garlic but then she does it and it’s “girl do it the easy way” . The internet is weird.

Just buy garlic in frozen cubes! If you have Trader Joe’s, they sell them, probably other stores too.

Get a cheap ice cube tray from the dollar store to freeze individual portions! Once frozen, pop the cubes out and store in a bag in the freezer.

i usually cut off the end with the skin still on, then it’s easy to peel the skin off. if the garlic is too fresh it might not work but overall it’s okay

So it took 1.5 hours… to save yourself the 30 seconds it takes to peel a couple cloves of garlic while you’re cooking? I’m struggling to see how this is a time saver.

"In Brazil, it's used daily in meals, especially with garlic-flavored fluffy rice. You should try some of our Brazilian recipes, like chicken stroganoff, or any other one—I'd love to see it 🇧🇷"

Buy the bags of peeled garlic at Sam’s Club or Costco, then just chop the ends off and put it through the food processor!

They have silicone rolly things that are cheap and it gets the papers off the cloves really easy and quick 💖, just pop the cloves in after cutting the root off.

If you put it sideways and cut the tough end all at once it’s easier.
