It’s because of her I put my kiddo into the coolest therapy. Farm therapy. She works with goats, geese, and horses once a week. And is THRIVING. It’s been two years now and she’s a totally different kid versus three years ago. Animals and the farm and nature are the solution.

I was bullied in school, thinking back I honestly think much of it was due to my lack of ability to communicate and read social cues. Some kids were just trying to break the ice or initiate contact and I misread it and got defensive or quiet and the other people felt offended.

my autistic son was told he would do nothing in life other then jail time, by a teacher. he graduated from high school, worked as a forklift driver, mechenist in an airplane fabication factory, a hospital security job and now a asst manage in a sporting goods store because we never allowed him not to progress. all these jobs were within his likes. he has made me so proud

This is so true about the no bullying with kids that have shared interests. My son was so bullied by his peers until we moved schools and he made friends with kids who had similar interests and not once last year wasbhe bullied! 🥰I absolutely adore his new friends!
