While he was asleep in his home, someone he trusted poured petrol on the house and set it on fire. He survived, but the flames left him with severe third-degree burns across his body. His mother and family desperately wanted to get him the medical treatment he needed. They tried everything they could, but the cost was simply beyond their reach. With no money left, they had no choice but to bring him back home. Today, Bonny continues to live with unbearable pain. Every cold season makes his scars ache, and every hot day brings even more suffering. Instead of healing, he has been left to endure this pain without the treatment he urgently needs. When I heard Bonny’s story, I couldn’t hold back my tears. My heart broke for this innocent young man. No one should have to suffer like this simply because they cannot afford medical care.
